Mr.Nazim, I call upon you to prosecute those police officers responsible for actions of police brutality on the 8th of February 2012
ReplyDeleteNo one is above the law. If the people who burnt down the courts and police stations are being arrested, so should those police officers who engaged in brutal acts against the people of the Maldives on the 8th of February 2012

Raappe, Thank you for your comment. You are right. No one is above the law and I am sure Police leadership and Police integrity commission are already taking necessary action regarding the issues you raised. I will ensure Maldives National Defence Force maintain their actions within the bounds of law.

DeleteI am sick and tired of unequal globalisers I am sick and tired of fascism I am sick and tired of this type of people
ReplyDeleteWhat "Police leadership and Police integrity commission" they are taking action, you mean till then those lunatics are armed and on the loose. Its like if a crazy person attacks with a knife he will be untouched till proven guilty by a court. This star gang attacked civilians on 6th,7th, 8th feb and even last night 6th mar on "insaafuge maidhan" even the criminal court has released some of the arrested saying that THEY WERE ARRESTED ILLEGALLY; but the star gang is armed and still at large. We both know that the current government cant and will not stop them for the leadership itself gives these unlawful commands.
